Easy Kids' Breakfast


Ingredients:

  • Dosa batter - 1 cup
  • Grated carrot - 1/2 cup
  • Small onions - 3 to 4
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Sambar powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Chillies (optional)
  • Oil
  • Salt

Preparation:

In a bowl, add the turmeric powder, sambar powder, salt, egg, chillies (optional), chopped onions and beat well so that its gets the batter consistency.

In a separate bowl, mix the dosa batter along with grated carrots or any other vegetable of your choice and keep it side.

Heat the paniyaram pan and add oil to each mold. Once the pan is hot, pour both the dosa batter and the egg based batter into the molds separately.

Once done, turn the paniyaram upside down and let it cook till it turns to golden brown. Serve hot with your kids’ favorite chutney.
