Baby Corn Pepper Fry


Ingredients:

  • Baby corn - 15
  • Capsicum - 1
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Crushed pepper - 4 tbsp
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil

For frying:

  • Gram flour - 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour - 3 tbsp
  • Rice flour - 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Water

In a bowl, mix all the above mentioned ingredients with water and make a batter out of it (without forming lumps). To that batter, add chopped capsicum and baby corn and mix well.

Heat the oil in a pan, and fry the chopped baby corn and capsicum pieces and keep it aside.

Preparation:

Heat the oil in a pan and once it’s hot, add sombu, onion, ginger garlic paste and saute till the onion turns golden brown in colour. To that, add chopped tomatoes, green chillies, salt and saute till it becomes a smooth paste.

To that, add fried baby corn and capsicum and saute for 10 minutes. Finally, sprinkle curry leaves and crushed pepper.

Serve hot with roti or any pulao.
